Château Minuty implements the HVE
(High Environmental Value) certification on the Estate’s 160 ha. This certification is the highest level of farming certification.
The certification is covering 4 points :
- The phytosanitary strategy : the reasonable use of plant protection products according to the meteorological conditions and the stage of development of the vegetation.
- The preservation of the biodiversity : we do not take in account exclusively the vineyard but all the vegetation and the wildlife surrounding the vineyards.
- The fertilizer management : we don’t use any chemical fertilizers and make inputs based on soil analyses and vine needs.
- The water management : we treat all the water coming from the winemaking process before rejecting it in the natural environment. In the same way, we recover and treat all the washing water of equipments intended to phytosanitary treatments of the vines.
This certification will ensure consumers about the recognition of the efforts made by Château Minuty to preserve the environment.
